Photos you upload: When you create a portrait, you upload photos of your pet and optionally yourself. These photos are used solely to generate your portrait and are processed by Google's Gemini AI model.

Order information: When you make a purchase, Shopify (our e-commerce platform) collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. We do not store credit card numbers directly.

Contact information: If you contact us via our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message content.

Automatically collected data: We may collect basic analytics data such as page views, browser type, and device information through Shopify's built-in analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your custom AI portrait using the photos you provide
• To process and fulfil your orders (digital delivery and/or print fulfilment)
• To send you your digital portrait download link via email
• To submit print orders to our fulfilment partner (Prodigi) for physical products

4. How Your Photos Are Processed

Your uploaded photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI model for portrait generation. The photos are transmitted securely and are used only for the purpose of creating your portrait.

Generated portraits are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 cloud storage. Preview images are stored temporarily, while purchased portraits are retained to enable digital download delivery.

We do not use your photos for AI model training, marketing, or any purpose other than generating your requested portrait.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our business:

• Shopify — e-commerce platform, payment processing, and order management
• Google Gemini — AI image generation for creating portraits
• Cloudflare — website hosting, image storage, and content delivery
• Prodigi — print-on-demand fulfilment for physical products
• Resend — transactional email delivery for digital downloads

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the Shopify platform to function (cart, checkout, session management). We also store your theme preference (light/dark mode) in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers beyond the generation session.

Generated portrait images are retained in cloud storage to enable digital download delivery and potential redelivery. Order records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations.
